The Industry Council on ESD Target Levels has released White Paper 4 Part II: A Novel Perspective on Transient AMR (Rev 1.0, October 2026), extending White Paper 4 on EOS and the Council's 2020 tAMR report. It defines tAMR (transient absolute maximum rating) and ATSA (acceptable transient stress area): tAMR is supplier-defined per agreed stress event; ATSA is the supplier-defined acceptable stress area within Region B below the AMR/tAMR boundary — with LRTS (lifetime reduction for transient stress) setting the acceptable reliability trade-off per mission profile.
